Marillion
De band wordt op handen gedragen door hun vele fans. Zo financierden in 1997 een groep fans al een volledige Amerikaanse tour. Dit resulteerde in een eigen website en label, los van alle verwachtingen en druk vanuit de traditionele platenmaatschappijen. In 2001 zette Marillion opnieuw zo’n 12.000 fans in voor het financieren van de productie van Anoraknophobia. Hun laatste en 20e studioalbum An Hour Before It’s Dark, werd in 2022 uitgebracht.
De sound is een mix van experimentele, emotionele rock en diepgaande, zielvolle teksten. En met ruim 40 jaar aan muziek is de band uitgegroeid tot een internationale kracht in progressieve rock en bracht hen al naar iconische zalen als de Royal Albert Hall.
voorprogramma door Unbelievable Truth
De Oxfordse band Unbelievable Truth is na 25 jaar weer helemaal terug. Andy Yorke, Nigel Powell en Jason Moulster braken in 1998 groots door met het debuutalbum Almost Here. Met de hit Higher Than Reason tourden ze de hele wereld over en stonden ze in het voorprogramma van Tori Amos. Na de opvolger sorrythankyou werd het stil, tot de reünie show in 2023 binnen drie minuten uitverkocht. De chemie was direct terug en de band begon te werken aan nieuwe muziek. Na een succesvolle tour in de UK met Soul Asylum begin 2025, keert Unbelievable Truth nu terug met hun eerste nieuwe werk in een kwarteeuw.

In the 1980s, the symphonic rock band achieved worldwide success with the single Kayleigh. With over 46 years under their belt, a wealth of eighties hits and 20 studio albums, the band is very much still going strong. In collaboration with MEZZ, Marillion comes to Chassé Theater.
The band is held in enormous affection by their many fans. In 1997, a group of fans funded an entire American tour, leading to their own website and label, free from the expectations and pressures of traditional record companies. In 2001, Marillion again mobilised around 12,000 fans to finance the production of Anoraknophobia. Their latest and twentieth studio album, An Hour Before It's Dark, was released in 2022.
Their sound is a blend of experimental, emotional rock and deeply soulful lyrics. With over 40 years of music behind them, the band has grown into an international force in progressive rock, taking them to iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall.

After the follow-up single sorrythankyou, things went quiet — until their 2023 reunion show sold out within three minutes. The chemistry was instantly there again and the band began working on new music. Following a successful UK tour with Soul Asylum in early 2025, Unbelievable Truth now return with their first new work in a quarter of a century.
