Movies with English subtitles and a free drink afterwards, that's Internationals Cinema Breda! Franz follows the life of Franz Kafka, from his childhood in Prague to his death in Vienna. He was a man torn between his longing for an ordinary existence and his irrepressible urge to write, and his life was marked by turbulent love affairs.

On the eve of the First World War, the young Franz Kafka tries to reconcile his passion for literature with his daily responsibilities. Gifted at blending realism and fantasy, and with a taste for razor-sharp critiques of bureaucracy and human nature, Kafka lives in a world hemmed in by his struggle with tuberculosis. He steers a course between his father's expectations, his job, intense relationships and his endless drive to write.
