how to buy tickets?
The Chassé Theatre applies the General Terms and Conditions for Visitors applied by the VSCD (the Dutch Association of Theatres and Concert Halls). These terms and conditions are available free of charge from the box office or visit our website. The Chassé Theatre makes a number of concessions and/or exceptions.
prices
Prices are subject to change. Please consult the website for the current prices. The sales price that is listed includes theatre service, which includes booking costs, cloakroom, and your e-ticket. There is no extra charge if you opt for an e-ticket (electronic ticket). If you would prefer to receive your tickets by post, € 4 will be charged per booking.
returning or exchanging tickets
You can return or exchange one day before the show commences. You can choose another show or receive a voucher. € 3 administration costs will be charged for each ticket exchanged.
wheelchair users
With the exception of the balconies in the grote zaal and the Koninklijke drukkerij Em. de Jongzaal, all theatres can be accessed by wheelchair. Special wheelchair places are available right next to the other seats. The Koninklijke drukkerij Em. de Jongzaal can only accommodate wheelchairs and not mobility scooters.

The Chassé Theater is completely pin-only.
rules of theatre attendance
latecomers
If the performance has already started, latecomers or guests who leave the theatre during the performance will be no longer admitted to the theatre. If there is an intermission, these people can then take their seats. Tickets are non-refundable.
photo, video, mobile phone
Photographs may not be taken and audio and/or visual recordings may not be made in the theatres. To avoid disturbing others, please turn off your mobile phone.
jackets
The Chassé Theatre has an attended and unattended cloakroom.
impaired hearing
All theatres are equipped with an auxiliary system for people with hearing difficulties, with or without hearing aids. This system amplifies the sound throughout the theatre, making it clearer and more audible. To use this system, an induction loop can be borrowed to be used with a hearing aid (equipped with an induction loop or T mode) free of charge. If you do not have a hearing aid, a stethoset can be loaned free of charge. Both can be collected from the service desk before the show.
If your hearing aid works with Bluetooth, we can easily connect your streamer to the system. This service is also available through the service desk. This service has also proven useful for people who have difficulty understanding spoken words.
opera glasses
‘Option’ opera glasses are available on loan from the service desk free of charge.
food & drinks
Vensters
‘See and be seen’ - you can take that quite literally in our all-day restaurant and bar Vensters'. Everything is visible inside and outside through the many glass windows (vensters = windows in Dutch). We introduce you to streetfood dishes from all corners of the world. Enjoy sustainable food, mostly vegetarian, made from the best ingredients. At Vensters', you can also enjoy various coffee specialities and a nice cup of tea with cake or pie. Or why not enjoy a beer or glass of wine before or after a movie? more information
flexible working
Anyone from in and around Breda are welcome to our foyer. The doors are open during the day and in the evening, to work, meet, drink coffee or to have a bite to eat. Make the theatre your own workplace, perfect for gathering and meetings!
Open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.

If you are looking for a memorable evening with your business associates, colleagues or members of the (staff) association, we would be more than happy to take up that challenge with you and put together a cultural or culinary outing to meet your needs!
students
The Chassé Theatre can offer everything you need. Both splendour and solid entertainment. With more than 330 performances and 4,000 film screenings, there is more than enough to see and do. The special admission prices for students only makes it even more enjoyable!
From spectacular musicals to hilarious cabaret, from swinging music to lively drama, students can visit a large number of theatrical performances for only € 10! You find these performances here. To almost all other theatre shows students get a 50% discount when tickets are bought from the box office on the day itself, unless tickets have sold out.
If you prefer to watch a film, students always pay € 7,50 for a movie.
private film screening
A private film screening for a group of fellow students? That can be arranged! Choose a film that is already showing, or let us know what you would like to see and we will arrange it for you!
guided tour/field trip
If you are interested in organising a guided tour for your course, take a peek behind the scenes of the Chassé Theatre! You will be taken to places not usually accessible to visitors. A field trip can also be arranged. You will receive a guided tour, a presentation from one of our staff and an interactive assignment.

guided tours
One of our tour guides will take you behind the scenes. You will be taken to places where only artists are allowed to go and see what goes on in the wings. The magic of theatre lurks in every corner of our building, from the deepest basements to the apex of the fly tower.
A guided tour in English can be booked for groups of 15 to 25 persons maximum. If you are interested in this, please email us at backoffice@chasse.nl.

parking/public transport
There are ample parking facilities around the Chassé Theatre. Carparks within walking distance: Chassé parking (limited spaces), Het Turfschip, Chasséveld and Beyerd/Vlaszak car parks. Carparks are busy on Thursday evenings and on Sundays when shops are open. Special parking spaces are available next to the theatre and in the Chassé car park for wheelchair users. The Chassé Theatre is 10-minute walk from Station NS. A number of bus lines stop at the Vlaszak bus stop. Go to chasse.nl/arriva for the timetables of buses that stop close to the theatre.
