Animazing: The Colors Within

NL: Als je je eigen ‘kleur’ kon zien, welke kleur zou dat dan zijn? Het is een vraag die de levendige Totsuko bezighoudt terwijl ze haar weg zoekt op haar katholieke kostschool. Totsuko heeft een uniek talent: ze kan de ‘kleuren’ van anderen zien. En de mooiste kleur van allemaal is die van haar klasgenoot Kimi. Maar wanneer Kimi de school verlaat, leidt een toevallige ontmoeting in een tweedehands boekenwinkel ertoe dat de twee meisjes een geïmproviseerde muziekband vormen met Rui, een introverte dromer en thereminspeler wiens moeder van hem verwacht dat hij dokter wordt. Terwijl het trio oefent in een oude, verlaten kerk, brengt hun gedeelde muzikale en emotionele reis hen vrijheid, vreugde en liefde.

For Totsuko, a vivid and religious high school student, this question lingers in her mind as she navigates life at her Catholic boarding school. Gifted with the ability to see the 'colours' of others, she is captivated by Kimi, a classmate whose blue colour is unparalleled. But when Kimi drops out of school, a chance encounter at a secondhand bookstore leads the two girls to form an inpromptu band with Rui, a reserved dreamer and theremin player whose mother expects him to become a doctor. As the trio practices in an old, abandoned church, their shared musical and emotional journey lets them find freedom, joy, and love.
