DANSLOKAAL is het jaarlijkse talentontwikkelingsproject van Conny Janssen Danst. In DANSLOKAAL 13 zijn dat Faizah Grootens (Korzo), Sheree Lenting (Dansateliers) en Andrea Costanzo Martini (Conny Janssen Danst).

Dit traject nodigt talentvolle makers uit om nieuw werk te ontwikkelen met de dansers van het Rotterdamse gezelschap. Artistiek directeur Conny Janssen, een van de meest toonaangevende choreografen in Nederland, selecteert elke editie in samenwerking met Dansateliers en Korzo een bijzondere verscheidenheid aan talent.

In DANSLOKAAL 13 zijn dat Faizah Grootens (Korzo), Sheree Lenting (Dansateliers) en Andrea Costanzo Martini (Conny Janssen Danst). De jonge makers krijgen de kans om binnen de professionele context van het gezelschap te werken aan de ontwikkeling van hun eigen signatuur. Het resultaat is een verrassende voorstelling met drie nieuwe werken, gemaakt voor én met de dansers van Conny Janssen Danst.

DANSLOKAAL is the annual talent development project by Conny Janssen Danst. For DANSLOKAAL 13, the selected makers are Faizah Grootens (Korzo), Sheree Lenting (Dansateliers), and Andrea Costanzo Martini (Conny Janssen Danst).

This trajectory invites talented creators to develop new work in collaboration with the dancers of the Rotterdam-based company. Artistic director Conny Janssen — one of the leading choreographers in the Netherlands — curates each edition in partnership with Dansateliers and Korzo, selecting a distinctive and diverse group of emerging artists.

In DANSLOKAAL 13, Faizah Grootens, Sheree Lenting, and Andrea Costanzo Martini each get the opportunity to hone their artistic voice within the professional environment of the company. The result is a surprising performance evening featuring three brand-new works, created for and with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst.
