Flamencogitarist Eric Vaarzon Morel, elektrische gitaarvirtuoos Yannik Sieburg en de expressieve Manuel Vega bundelen hun krachten in een unieke aanloop naar een flamencorock-opera. In Guitar King & Prince mengen zij letterlijk en figuurlijk vrijwel alle gitaarstijlen zeer virtuoos door elkaar. Van flamenco tot jazz en klassiek tot blues, rock en heavy metal.

Na het succes van De Spaanse Miles Davis, waarin Vaarzon Morel en Sieburg al samen schitterden, tillen ze hun samenwerking nu naar een nieuw niveau. Hun nieuwste werk, La quinta de B. – een eigenzinnige bewerking van Beethovens Vijfde – werd al enthousiast ontvangen op NPO Radio 4 en besproken bij Groenteman op Zondag.

In Guitar King & Prince, they masterfully and literally blend nearly every guitar style imaginable—flamenco, jazz, classical, blues, rock, and heavy metal—in a dazzling display of virtuosity.

Following the success of De Spaanse Miles Davis, where Vaarzon Morel and Sieburg first captivated audiences together, the duo now elevate their collaboration to new artistic heights. Their latest piece, La quinta de B.—a bold reinterpretation of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony—has already received praise on NPO Radio 4 and was discussed onthe TV-show Groenteman op Zondag.
