De succesvolle buitenbios van Breda is terug. Deze zomer tovert Sunset Cinema elf bijzondere plekken om tot openluchtbioscopen. Op het prachtige Landgoed Wolfslaar vertonen we de maatschappijkritische komedie The Menu.

Het koppel Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) en Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) reizen naar een afgelegen eiland in de Pacific Northwest om te dineren in het exclusieve restaurant Hawthorn. Daar heeft de teruggetrokken, wereldberoemde chefkok Julian Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) een uitgebreid tasting menu bereid voor speciaal geselecteerde gasten. Begeleid door het onberispelijk geklede personeel onder leiding van generaal Elsa, wordt de avond alsmaar spannender door geheimen van de gasten die aan de oppervlakte komen en onverwachte gangen die worden geserveerd. Het wordt de dinerende gasten steeds meer duidelijk dat het uitgebreide menu van Slowiks is ontworpen voor een avond vol schokkende verrassingen.

In augustus en september 2026 vertonen we veertien avonden lang tijdens Sunset Cinema de mooiste films op elf unieke buitenlocaties in de stad. Van het voetbalstadion tot een prachtig landgoed: elke plek krijgt een magisch filmisch tintje zodra de zon ondergaat. The couple Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) travel to a remote island in the Pacific Northwest to dine at the exclusive Hawthorn restaurant. There, the reclusive, world-famous chef Julian Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared an elaborate tasting menu for specially selected guests. Guided by the impeccably dressed staff led by General Elsa, the evening grows increasingly suspenseful as the guests’ secrets come to light and unexpected courses are served. It becomes increasingly clear to the diners that Slowik’s elaborate menu is designed for an evening full of shocking surprises.
