Tijdens Animazing draait het in Chassé Cinema helemaal om anime, manga en animatie films. In samenwerking met bibliotheek Nieuwe Veste en Kaboom Animation Festival. The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun is de eerste samenwerking van latere Ghibli-oprichters Takahata en Miyazaki en blijft een heerlijk energiek avonturenverhaal, waarin kleine Horus strijdt tegen reuzen en tirannie in de Scandinavische IJzertijd.

NL: Heerlijk energiek avonturenverhaal betekende eerste samenwerking van regisseur Isao Takahata met zijn protégé Hayao Miyazaki – de latere oprichters van Studio Ghibli. Met zijn mythologische bronmateriaal (naar een epos van de inheemse Ainu) en socialistische boodschap (die goed viel bij de studenten van 1968), geldt Horus als de allereerste ‘volwassen’ anime.

EN: Wonderfully energetic adventure story marked the first collaboration between director Isao Takahata and his protégé Hayao Miyazaki – later founders of Studio Ghibli.
