Pierre is working on his latest masterpiece, but can hardly get any writing done because he is constantly interrupted by phone calls from his publisher, his daughter, his ex… Turning off his phone is not an option: the mere thought of all those voicemails piling up drives him crazy. He proposes that Baptiste become his “answering machine,” by mastering Pierre’s voice and pretending to be him. Before long, Baptiste gets a taste for it, and ends up taking over not just Pierre’s phone, but his life as well.
Le répondeur won the Audience Award at the Alpe d’Huez Film Festival 2025.
