Terwijl het orkest de filmmuziek speelt, worden de filmbeelden vertoond op het grote witte doek. De filmscènes geven een samenvatting van de films en zijn perfect gesynchroniseerd met de live uitgevoerde muziek. Door de combinatie van beeld, muziek en een spectaculaire lichtshow word je steeds opnieuw de film in getrokken.
De avond wordt gepresenteerd door filmjournalist René Mioch. Hij neemt je mee achter de schermen met zijn verhalen en anekdotes over de film, de componisten en de regisseurs.
