The Art of Disobedience + Q&A

The Art of Disobedience is an adrenaline-filled journey into the world of graffiti writing through the eyes of Geco, one of the most famous and prolific writers in Europe. With extraordinary obstinacy and an unmistakable style, he transformed his art into an act of defiance against rules and social conventions.

The film features never-before-seen images from rooftops, tunnels, and the highest points of Rome (and beyond), retracing the absurd manhunt that followed Geco’s identification in 2020. The media storm sparked debate: who decides what is art and what is vandalism? The Art of Disobedience invites viewers to look beyond appearances, explore the power of disobedience, and question the meaning of freedom.
